58-Year-Old Man Killed in Woodson County Accident
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, on February 12, 2020, Robert E. Cochran, of Yates Center, Kansas, died in an accident at U54 at milepost 316.9 in Woodson County, Kansas. Mr. Cochran, driving a 2001 Dodge Ram, was heading eastbound on U54 when Jeffrey A. Frericks, driving westbound on U54 in a 2008 Chevrolet Express Van, lost control and struck Cochran’s truck. Following the accident, Mr. Frericks was taken to Stormont Vail Hospital with suspected serious injuries.
