Head-on Collison in Crawford County Leaves Three People Seriously Injured
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, on December 27, 2019, Rosemary Rion, age 71, was seriously injured in a crash 1.6 miles south of K126 in Crawford County, Kansas. The accident occurred after Thomas R. McPartlen, driving northbound on U69 in a 1996 Toyota Corolla, swerved to the shoulder, over-corrected and crossed the center line, striking Ms. Rion’s 1999 Buick Park Avenue. Mr. McPartlen, along with the passenger in his car, Aletha Snider, received serious injuries from the accident. All three parties involved were taken to Via Christi Hospital.
