Johnson County Car Crash Leaves 2 Seriously Injured
A two-car accident in Warrensburg, Missouri, has left two seriously injured and another with moderate injuries. On September 3, 2019, at approximately 5:44 PM, Abram Britton, 43, ran a stop sign and drove into the path of Kyle Schalk’s 2006 Toyota. In doing so, Britton struck the front right quarter panel of Schalk’s vehicle. Britton, who was not wearing a seatbelt, suffered serious injuries and was flown by Life Flight Eagle air ambulance to Research Hospital. His passenger, Sarah Whatley, 59, also suffered serious injuries. She was transported by Johnson County EMS to Research Hospital, as well. Schalk, 30, suffered moderate injuries and was taken by Johnson County EMS to Centerpoint Medical Center. The accident occurred on Route Y at SE 251 Road.
