Teenager Leaves 4 Injured in Johnson County Crash
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, on February 16, 2020, Jamalik Monroe, age 19, was injured in an accident at Metcalf Ave. and College Blvd. in Overland Park, Kansas. The accident occurred after Mr. Monroe, driving at a high rate of speed on eastbound I-435, exited southbound on Metcalf Ave and then ran the stop light at College Blvd. Upon entering the intersection at College Blvd., Mr. Monroe collided into Cole Martin, driving a 2011 Chevrolet Camaro. Anika Campbell, age 18, and Tradon Sticklen, age 13, were both passengers in Mr. Monroe’s vehicle. Moreover, Austin Mullin, age 21, was a passenger in Mr. Martin’s vehicle. As a result of the accident, all five teenagers sustained suspected injuries.
