Wichita Man Seriously Injured After Crash with Semi-Truck
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, on December 9, 2019, Tyler Mason, age 31, was taken to St. Francis Hospital with a suspected serious injury resulting from an accident with a semi-truck off K-96 and 101st Street in Sedgwick County, KS. The driver of the semi-truck, Wilbert Reed, age 64, was attempting to turn west on K96 from 101st Street and blocking the eastbound lanes of K96. Mason was driving eastbound on K96 and could not avoid a collision with the semi-truck. Reed suffered no injury in the crash.
